Philosophy of Education
Duty of the parents
We believe that the Bible clearly instructs parents, not the Church or State, to “bring children up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord” (Ephesians 6:4, Deuteronomy 6). Therefore, we teach in a manner consistent with the Bible and a godly home environment, working alongside parents.
All of truth is God's truth
We believe that God’s person and character is revealed not only in His Word, but also in every facet of creation (Romans 1:20). Therefore, we teach that all knowledge is interrelated and instructs us about God.
Loving God with our minds
We believe that God wants us to love Him “with our minds, hearts, souls, and strength” (Matthew 22:37). Therefore, we teach how to learn and reason through the centuries-old classical method of education which emphasizes piety, the liberal arts, the humanities, and finds its culmination in the sciences of philosophy and ultimately, theology.
Striving for Excellence
We believe that God wants us to do all things “heartily, as unto the Lord” (Colossians 3:23). Therefore, we teach that excellence is the standard for each person’s endeavors.
